Call for Papers – UPDATE

(The deadline for submission of digests/proposals (3Dec2012) has passed.  Hotel registration is available here; conference registration will be available soon.  We look forward to seeing you.) 

Those wishing to present papers are invited to submit digests to the ESTS 2013 Technical Committee. Your digest (up to 1000 words and one or two key figures) should include:

  • Paper title, name(s) of principal author(s) and organization(s)
  • Whether you propose to submit a complete paper or only a PowerPoint presentation
  • Primary point of contact, address, telephone and facsimile numbers, and email address
  • Text providing sufficient detail for the Technical Committee to perform a review.
  • The text should include a problem statement or introduction, an outline of the key points to be made in the paper, and conclusions or recommendations.

Digests should be written in Word or PDF format and submitted to the ESTS 2013 Technical Committee Chair at http://ests2013.epapers.org.

ACCEPTANCE OF PAPERS

The Technical Committee will accept papers on the basis of the digests submitted. The authors of accepted papers will be requested to submit the final manuscripts of their papers for inclusion in the Proceedings by the deadline below.  Accepted papers must be presented at the conference in order be included in IEEE Xplore.

DATES:

NEW DATE – Digests due – December 3

Digests should be written in Word or PDF format and submitted to the ESTS 2013 Technical Committee Chair at http://ests2013.epapers.org.

Authors notified of acceptance – January 21, 2013
Final papers due – March 1, 2013

NOTE: On Papers Which Require Corporate or Government Approval for Publication or Which Require Restricted Access

For instances in which papers require corporate or government approval prior to publication please contact the technical program chair directly to obtain a possible deadline extension. In addition, the technical committee chair should be contacted where restricted access to the contents of a digest are required since these will be handled on a case-by-case basis.  Contact Technical Committee chair, Herbert Ginn, GINNHL@cec.sc.edu.
